Punch Champ Privacy Policy

Version: 1 · Effective date: October 22, 2026 · Last updated: October 22, 2026

Punch Champ ("the App") is a boxing fitness game published by Pudgefinds LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the App uses, why, where it is kept, who it is shared with and for how long, and the choices and rights you have.

Short version

•Your camera video never leaves your phone. Body tracking happens on the phone with Apple's Vision framework, frame by frame, and the frames are thrown away.
•Your health data stays with you. Heart rate, body weight, age and other fitness settings are kept on your phone. Apple Health data is never used for advertising, marketing or data mining, never sold, and never stored in iCloud by the App.
•We have no accounts and no servers of our own today. We do not sell your personal information.
•Ads are planned (optional rewarded video ads that give coins). When they are added, the ad network will receive some device and ad interaction data as described in Section 9, and you will be asked for tracking permission before any cross-app tracking.
•You can delete everything the App keeps in Settings > Legal > Delete my data.

We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, location, microphone or photo library access. The App never records audio from the microphone.

2. Camera and body tracking

The App uses the front camera to see your punches, slips, ducks and guard. Each video frame is turned into body points (like "left wrist") on your phone with Apple's Vision framework and then discarded. Camera video is never uploaded, saved by the App, or seen by us, and camera data is never used for advertising, marketing or data mining. We do not use the camera to identify you, recognize faces, or estimate any health measurement.

3. Fight clips and screen recording

If "Record my fights" is on, the App records its own screen and game sound with Apple's ReplayKit (never the microphone). iOS shows its own prompt and recording indicator. The fight screen includes a small view of your camera, so clips can show you and your surroundings. Clips stay on your phone unless you share them or save them to Photos (add-only access; the App cannot see your library).

4. Apple Health (HealthKit)

If you turn on "Save to Apple Health", each fight or guided workout is saved as a Boxing workout with the estimated active energy and, if a monitor was connected, heart rate samples. The iPhone App writes to Health and does not read it. The optional Apple Watch App reads your heart rate and active energy only during a workout, to show them live.

Following Apple's rules, data from HealthKit is never used for advertising, marketing or data mining, never sold, never shared with ad networks or data brokers, never used for anything other than providing the App's fitness features, and never stored in iCloud (including Game Center saved games) by the App.

5. Heart rate monitors and Bluetooth

If you connect a Bluetooth heart rate monitor (for example a chest strap, or WHOOP in heart rate broadcast mode), the App uses Bluetooth only to receive heart rate readings. Readings stay on your devices and are used for the live display, zones, calorie estimates and the "Take a breather" reminder. They are never uploaded and never put in Game Center saved games. The App asks for Bluetooth only when you choose to connect a monitor.

6. Body weight, age and other settings

Body weight is used only to estimate calories. Age, sex and max heart rate (all optional) are used only for heart rate zones, calorie estimates and the breather threshold. They stay on your phone.

The age question on the agreement screen is different: it asks your birth year (and month or day only if needed) once, to check you are 13 or older. The answer is not saved. Only "13+ confirmed" is kept.

7. Game Center and iCloud

If you are signed in to Game Center, scores and some totals go to Game Center leaderboards, and your progress is saved as a Game Center saved game, which Apple stores in your iCloud, so you can restore it on a new phone. Saved games hold game progress and the App's own session history, including calorie estimates. They never hold heart rate, heart rate zones, body weight, age or anything from Apple Health. Cloud save is off until the App's publisher account supports it. Game Center is run by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; other players can see your Game Center name and leaderboard scores.

8. Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions go through Apple's App Store. We never see your payment details or Apple Account. Apple gives us anonymous, aggregated sales reports.

9. Advertising (PLANNED, SECTION TO FINALIZE WHEN THE AD NETWORK IS CHOSEN)

TO FINALIZE: fill in [AD NETWORK NAME] and [AD NETWORK PRIVACY URL], confirm every statement below against the network's SDK documentation and privacy manifest, update the App Store privacy answers and PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy, and bump the privacy version in LegalVersions so players agree again. Remove this box when done.

Punch Champ will offer optional rewarded video ads: you can choose to watch an ad to earn coins. Ads are never required to play and never shown during a fight.

When ads are added, they will be provided by [AD NETWORK NAME] ([AD NETWORK PRIVACY URL]). When you watch or are offered an ad, the ad network's software in the App may collect: device and app information (model, OS version, language, app version), IP address and approximate location derived from it, ad interactions (impressions, clicks, completions), performance and fraud prevention signals, and, only if you allow it, your device's advertising identifier (IDFA).

•App Tracking Transparency (ATT): the App will ask for your permission, using Apple's system prompt, before the IDFA is accessed or your data is used to track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", ads will be non-personalized or contextual, and you still earn the same coins. You can change this in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
•What is never shared with the ad network: camera data, clips, Apple Health data, heart rate, body weight, age, sex, fighter name or anything you entered about your health. The App will not pass health information to ad partners or use it to choose ads.
•Children: users under 13 cannot use the App. For users we know are 13 to 15, we will request non-personalized ads where the network supports it. [TO FINALIZE: confirm the network's settings for age-restricted users.]
•Selling or sharing for targeted advertising under US state laws: if personalized ads are enabled, some states may treat the ad network's data use as a "sale" or "sharing". See Section 13 for how to opt out.

10. Usage statistics

The App keeps a small log of events like "fight started" or "store opened", with the fighter, mode and difficulty, a random ID made on your phone, and the app and iOS versions. It never contains your fighter name, video, voice, weight, age, health or heart rate data. Today this log stays on your phone.

Turn it off any time in Settings > Support and privacy > Share anonymous usage. Turning it off deletes the log and the random ID.

11. Crash and freeze reports

iOS can give the App anonymous crash, freeze and performance reports (MetricKit). The App keeps the last 20 on your phone. They are sent only if you tap "Send diagnostics" and choose where to send them. They contain technical data (app and iOS version, phone model, code location), not personal data.

12. Children

Punch Champ is for people 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, COPPA). The App asks a neutral birth year question before anything else; if the answer is under 13, the App does not let the user in and saves nothing about them except a flag that blocks entry. If you believe a child under 13 has used the App, contact hi@pudgefinds.com and tell them to use Settings > Legal > Delete my data, or delete the App. Teens 13 to 17 need a parent or guardian's permission.

13. Your privacy rights

Everyone

Because the App keeps your data on your phone and in your own Apple services, you control it directly:

•Delete: Settings > Legal > Delete my data erases everything the App keeps on your phone and its Game Center saved game. Workouts in Apple Health are deleted in the Health app. Leaderboard scores are managed by Game Center. Deleting the App also deletes its data on the phone.
•Access and portability: your history and stats are shown in the App; Health workouts can be exported from the Health app.
•Withdraw consent: turn off Apple Health, Bluetooth, camera, notifications, tracking (ATT) or usage statistics in the App or in iOS Settings at any time. Withdrawing does not affect earlier processing.
•Contact us: hi@pudgefinds.com. We will respond within 45 days (or sooner where the law requires) and will not discriminate against you for using your rights. Because we hold no accounts or server copies of your data today, we may have nothing to retrieve, and will tell you so.

US state privacy laws (California CCPA/CPRA, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to access, correct and delete it; to get a portable copy; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising and profiling; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and to appeal our decision. We do not sell personal information today. When ads are added, you can opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising by choosing "Ask App Not to Track" and [TO FINALIZE: an in-app "Do not sell or share" switch, and honoring Global Privacy Control where it applies]. We use sensitive information (health data) only to provide the features you asked for. To appeal a decision, email hi@pudgefinds.com with "Appeal" in the subject; if you are not satisfied, you may contact your state attorney general. California residents: categories collected are listed in Section 1; we have not sold or shared personal information in the past 12 months.

Consumer health data: Washington My Health My Data Act and Nevada SB 370

Heart rate, body weight, calorie estimates and workout data can be "consumer health data" under Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's consumer health data law (NRS 603A, SB 370), and similar laws (for example Connecticut's). For these laws:

•Categories: heart rate readings and summaries, body weight, optional age, sex and max heart rate, workouts and calorie estimates, and the age check result.
•Sources: you (what you enter), your Apple Watch, Bluetooth heart rate monitors, and the App's own estimates.
•Purposes: only to provide the fitness features you ask for (live display, zones, calorie estimates, the breather reminder, saving to Apple Health if you turn it on).
•Sharing: we do not share consumer health data with third parties or affiliates, and we do not sell it. It is never shared with ad networks. Data in Apple Health and Game Center is held by Apple at your direction.
•Consent: the App processes this data only when you choose the related feature (for example, connecting a monitor or turning on Apple Health), after you agree to this policy.
•Your rights: confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data; access it; get a list of third parties and affiliates it was shared with (none today); withdraw consent; and delete it (Settings > Legal > Delete my data, or email hi@pudgefinds.com). You may appeal a refusal as described above and, in Washington, complain to the Washington State Attorney General.
•No geofencing is used around health care facilities.

EU, EEA and UK users (GDPR and UK GDPR)

If the App is offered in the EU, EEA or UK, Pudgefinds LLC is the controller for the limited data it processes. Most processing happens only on your device. Legal bases: performance of a contract (running the game you downloaded), explicit consent for health data (Article 9(2)(a)), such as heart rate and Apple Health, which you give by turning those features on and can withdraw at any time, consent for optional usage statistics and, when added, personalized ads, and legitimate interests in security and fixing bugs from reports you choose to send. You have the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, data portability, withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).

14. Security

Data stays on your device, protected by iOS sandboxing and your device passcode and encryption. Health data is managed by Apple's HealthKit, and Game Center data by Apple. Challenge links and shared clips go only where you send them. No method of storage or transfer is perfectly secure, so keep your device locked and up to date.

15. International transfers

We do not run servers today. Apple services (Game Center, iCloud, App Store) and, when added, the ad network may process data in the United States and other countries under their own safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

16. Retention

Data on your phone is kept until you delete it, use Delete my data, or delete the App. Data held by Apple or the ad network follows their retention policies. We do not keep copies on servers of our own.

17. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the version and effective date. For material changes, the App will ask you to review and agree again before you continue. Earlier versions are available on request.
